Stop Viruses Before AV companies can
As well as utilising world-class anti-virus software technology, MailScreen is alerted of viruses as soon as they are DISCOVERED. Even before some anti-virus companies are able to update their engines, MailScreen is able to stop viruses by “Subject”, “attachment name”, “sender” etc. We are often stopping viruses HOURS before the AV companies are able to update their detection engines for their desktop/gateway software.
Pro-active Quarantine (Stopping Suspicious File Types)
MailScreen provides pro-active protection against viruses by quarantining “suspicious” file types, and attachments. These files may not be known viruses, but are typically not used for normal “business” email and can be automatically quarantined for a period of time before release.
